“‘Dry January’ beautifully nestles itself at the intersection of horror and comedy.... Like a queer Rod Serling, C.J. Arellano weaves a delightful yarn of hilarious dread.”
Lilly Wachowski

“Despite the short’s fun absurdity, there’s something deeper about the struggles of sobriety and constant temptation.... This creature feature is a solid character-driven story.”
Brian Fanelli, HorrorBuzz.com

“Pure, wild absurdism.... You will never see another film like this one. Trust me.”
Eric Li, ScariestThings.com

“‘Dry January’ is a film that’s as weird as it is funny.... It’s a sharp, offbeat take on the battle between self-improvement and self-destruction — and it’s an absolute blast to watch.”
Paul Hibbard, ZekeFilm.org

“This short went places I didn’t expect.... The ending is a riot.”
